How long does it take to get an Esé Azénabor dress? What is our standard ordering window?

Our standard production timeline is at least 9 months prior to the event date. We recommend that clients come for a consultation and make their initial 50% deposit at least 9-12 months before the wedding or event day.

What if my wedding or event is sooner?

If your wedding or event is in less than 9 months, we have rush options with associated rush fees. If the event is 6-8 months from the date of purchase, we add a 10% rush fee to the subtotal. If the event is 3-6 months from date of purchase, we add a 15% rush fee to the subtotal. If the event is less than 3 months, we add a 20% rush fee to the subtotal. Please note that not all styles are available at the 20% rush option.

Do you have payment plans? Do I have to pay in full?

We require a 50% deposit to start production. Once the 50% is paid, no major changes can be made to the garment. At the first fitting, half of the remaining balance is due. At the 2nd fitting, the balance is due in full.

Do I have to come in for a fitting?

Yes, we require two fittings. First fittings are held about two months before the wedding/event date. Final fittings are held about a month or less from the wedding/event date.

Do you have a consultation fee?

Yes, there is a consultation fee of $250.00 that is non-refundable. If you move forward, that fee is applied to your total.

Do you have to make an appointment?

Yes, we are by appointment only. If the calendar allows, our teams are happy to welcome last-minute bookings with a paid consultation fee on a case-by-case basis.

Do you handle non-local or international consultations?

Yes, we offer video consultations which is an option to be selected when you book your appointment.

How much do your dresses cost?

Our pre-designed collection, which is out Pret Mariee, starts at $6,000 and can range up to $30,000. Custom Bespoke gowns start at $10,000.

What is the difference between Prét Marieé and Bespoke?

Our Prét Marieé collection is a pre-designed collection by Esé Azénabor that is custom made to your measurements and is subject to customizations to suit your vision. Bespoke pieces are designed during the consultation with a team member based on the client vision and are not represented in our Prét Marieé collections. We utilize silhouettes, fabrications, beading, crystals, pearls, applique, etc. from our existing collections to create each Bespoke design. Please note that we are NOT able to replicate or copy another designer’s work. We only work with brand provided materials that have passed our quality control to ensure the best quality garment in production.

Can you buy off the rack?

We do not sell any bridal gowns off the rack as they are custom made to your measurements. Only during a Sample Sale is when you are able to purchase selected gowns off the rack.

Do you charge a card fee? What if I want to pay wish cash, check, etc.

We accept all major credit and debit cards, cash, or cashier’s checks. We do not currently accept personal checks. We charge a one-time 3.5% card processing fee for ALL card payments (credit and debit) that is built into your invoice. If you elect to pay with cash or a cashier’s check, there is no associated fee.
